Adelaida is seven months old!
Here is the ritual series of pictures from the past seven months, showing how big Adelaida has grown and how much she has changed.
Here is one of the first pictures of Adelaida, when she was four days old. She weighed seven pounds and was 19 inches long at birth. She still wears the black-and-white dress she had on in this picture!
Adelaida at one month old, content to do anything we had her do and go anywhere we took her.
By three months old, Adelaida had developed a wonderful personality all her own. She began developing likes and dislikes, and began smiling at people and things she knew.
At five months old, Adelaida was really becoming fun. She could sit by herself, giggle and laugh when she was tickled, and was interested in learning about everything going on around her.
Now our little baby is seven months old. She has gotten bigger (by 7 pounds and 7 inches) and is now 14 pounds and 26 inches. She is still a very content baby, happy being held by anyone and happy playing by herself, and has developed into her own little person. Her favorite activities right now are looking at Murphy and being tickled by her daddy, and she does not like having her nose wiped or getting dressed. She is more and more fun every day and is so interested in the world around her that we have to keep important papers, fragile dishes, and sharp objects well out of her reach.

What happened to the six month picture? :-)
ReplyDeleteThe posts were getting pretty long, so I decided to post only even-month pictures or odd-month pictures. You'll see a six-month picture again in August!
