Ten months ago, we met our beautiful little girls for the first time. They have grown and changed so much in the past ten months, from tiny, helpless little babies who just slept and nursed into fun-loving, determined, happy babies who love to crawl around and play with toys and watch their big sister.

Here is a quick look at how much our little girls have grown in the past ten months:

At ten months, Cordelia is a very happy baby. She loves to play and is less upset now when people leave the room than she was a few months ago. She can seamlessly transition between sitting and army crawling, so whenever we put her on the floor, she immediately crawls over the toy bins, sits up, and starts taking all the toys out of the bins to play with them. She enjoys eating but greatly prefers finger food to spoon food -- even if the food offered to her on a spoon is exactly the same as the food offered to her on her tray! Cordelia loves to be tickled, to be thrown up in the air, and to play peek-a-boo with Adelaida. She has the most beautiful little laugh, and her face just lights up when she smiles!

Estella is a very happy baby, too, making us quite possibly the luckiest parents of twins ever. Estella is a very determined child and is always pushing the limits of what she can do. She is very fast at army crawling and, although she can't get into a sitting position by herself, she can stand up against furniture by herself! When we put Estella on the floor, she immediately crawls right to a kid-sized chair and uses it to pull herself up. Once standing in front of the chair, she just looks at us with a great big grin on her face -- she is so proud of herself! Estella loves to eat, and she will eat anything and everything. This is somewhat of a problem when she finds dirt, strings, small pieces of plastic, wood chips, chalk, and so much more on the floor! Estella eats spoon food and finger food and seems to continue eating forever -- when we feed Estella, she finishes the meal when we become tired of feeding her, because if it were up to her, she would never stop eating! Estella loves to explore new places, watch Adelaida play, and play "kitty cats" with Adelaida, where both girls crawl around on the floor together and Adelaida says "miaow!"
Happy ten-month birthday, Cordelia and Estella. Our little girls are growing into big girls!
